At Norbury Manor, we pride ourselves on being able to offer as broad and balanced a curriculum as possible in order to ensure students learn a comprehensive range of valuable skills. Creativity and initiative are fostered through investigation and problem solving.
Key Stage 3 students can expect to study a wide selection of differing subjects, exposing them to a broad base of knowledge.
Key Stage 4 students can select from a range of GCSE and vocational subjects. They are encouraged to maintain a broad and balanced selection to ensure they have a sound base for further study. There is a further opportunity for students to follow a community language and study it to GCSE or A level.
All students follow a detailed education course encompassing personal, social, health, economic and careers aspects which is designed to help them make the most of opportunities in and out of college. We are very fortunate in having an excellent team of outside speakers to enrich this programme. Regular Deep Learning Days allow us to focus on developing personal learning, thinking and enterprise skills.
Our sixth form is well established. We offer a wide range of academic and vocational courses delivered primarily in a dedicated, recently developed, multi-million pound block. Detailed curriculum information for current sixth form subjects is available to view here.
