Norbury Manor complies with the new School Food Standards and recognises the importance of a nutritious meal to both learning and health. The college's cashless payment system allows you to pay for your child’s meals online and in advance which means you can be certain the money isn't lost and is used for the purpose it was intended; you can also check which meal options your child is purchasing by logging into your account.
The college's dining services are provided by Independent Catering. Their philosophy is based around the use of fresh, regional produce from local suppliers. All their food is freshly prepared on site by the college chef, Taf, and his team. The menus have been accredited with the Soil Association's Food for Life Silver Catering Mark which underlines a commitment to using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients, at least 5% of which are derived from organic sources.
By choosing from a very reasonably priced list of options, students can have a delicious, freshly prepared main meal with a homemade dessert. There is an array of meal deals available as well as sandwiches, pasta dishes, jacket potatoes and a full salad bar to complement the main offer. The breakfast and morning break services present a selection of healthy hot and cold snacks. Menus can be viewed here and here.
Independent Catering's main menus denote particular allergens while sandwiches are marked with allergen information which is also available at the point of sale. If you have any worries or concerns please contact Taf Feshitan on 020 8679 0062 (xt. 229).
