PSHE, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) Consultation

From September 2020, it has been a statutory requirement for all schools in England and Wales to teach Relationship and Sex Education (RSE) as a fundamental part of the curriculum. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, schools have been given an extension to begin teaching this in the summer term of 2021.

As part of implementing the RSE curriculum, schools must consult with the children, parents, staff and governors to ensure there is a general consensus on our approaches to policy and the curriculum content.

Here at Norbury we will be starting our consultation process on Friday 18th June 2020; the consultation will close on Friday 25th June 2020.
